English is still a major problem in black schools.These learners do not understand English well they are even struggling with their activities at school.

It is so wonderful when learners freely choose you as their mentor and express their appreciation! It makes this experience so valuable and really worthwhile!

one thing i have noticed since starting the learnthings project is that the pupils there are not fully taught in english,thus making their communication skills in english weak and difficult to understand

Viva Foundation Project is the most fast growing centre I've been to,thumbs up to the people who initiated it.It is well equiped and find something new whenever I visit them.

i was looking back on the mamelodi learnthings project and to my amazement i found that i actually learned something from the learners. i learned to be patient and to have hope. i was there not only as an educator but as a guide as a result i had to make sure that i do not lead them astray. the project was a really wonderful experience.

The project was quite an experienc in that i was at times taken out of my comfort zone.However, how do you measure ones impact in the project??

communication barrier in SA is still a big problem and people still do not concern themselves to start reading so that they can improve their communication skills. There is solutions to this problem but people do not bother themselves. Reading is the best way to improve communication and vocabular > We should all start to gain knowledge by starting to read
