vuyiseka NdlangalavuI will miss my learners, the project was an eye opener to me because I was able to see the different kind of situations I would be facing in my proffesion.
William MoagiI read through many of your chats and is quite evident that we are all faced with communication problems. I had the same too especially with learners who are not good with English. But the truth is they will never be as long as they don’t learn it. Thus we need to push them to the edge. I suggest that even though you might know their mother tongue force the English coz at the end they will benefit
William SelaneWhat a woderful week im having. Good night friends, much love to all of you, and i mean ALL OF YOU
Xolani MkhondwaneIt is sad that the learners we worked with now sit at a position where they most probably do not have anyone helping them with homework or any such related work. I know that my child only read when I was there I feel for him because he had showed considerable improvement. Is the feeling mutual?
ziphezinhle mngadii am having serious hygiene problems. I always find fleas in my bag and on my body(clothing) everytime i attend my community project. I am a very clean person so i know that those fleas have to have came from the children or the classroom where i do my community project
ZS HlongwaneAlthough mother tongue language is important English has become a global language and so all leamers should at least be able to communicate through the medium.I was stunned to hear one of my dear learners at the project tell me that she doesn't want me to even speak the language(English) with her at all, how can one as a prospective English teacher manage such a dilemma?Especially in the project.
